It's really just amazing to see how celebrities who purportedly speak on behalf of the everyday American took advantage of the Harris campaign.

Take Oprah for example. During the final leg of the campaign, she hosted a town hall for Kamala Harris to the tune of $2.5 million. The production company that it was paid to said that it was used for production costs. Give me a break. A stage with couches and an audience and some big TV screens do not cost $2.5 million dollars. That was not a two and a half million dollar production.

The Harris campaign ended $20 million in debt. So hard-working canvassers, young kids, just looking to get by, won't get paid. But these celebrities who endorsed her will. Such a mockery of the campaigning system. Whoever was in charge of her finances and negotiating these deals should be laughed out of town.
