Champions: Kashyap, Meenal dominate the track - 24 Hours Stadium Run

Completely dominating the race, 

Chandigarh's Rakesh Kashyap and Delhi's Meenal Kotak retained their lead till the end to grab the men's and women's 24 Hours Stadium Run title, respectively, in the fifth edition of the Tuffman Stadium Run held at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector 3, Panchkula, on Sunday. 

Both Kashyap and Meenal earned the title of 'Ultra Tuffman' and 'Ultra Tuffwoman', respectively. Apart from the both top finishers, many other runners, who met the required criteria got the title.

The 24 hours race started on Saturday (February 11) at 4pm and finished at 4pm on Sunday (February 12). 

In the stipulated 24 hours time, Kashyap completed 489 laps for the top position. As he was running on lane number 6, a lap was of a distance 437.70m. 

He ran 214.03km in 24 hours for the first position. 

Another Chandigarh runner Vinit Kaura, who was also running on lane number 6, completed​ 479 laps and a distance of 209.65 km for the second position. 

In the women's section, Delhi's Meenal Kotak, who was also on lane number 6, completed a distance of 186.90km to grab the top position. She completed 427 laps. 

​Deepa Yadav from Kota with 338 laps is at second place, she completed 419 laps to cover a distance of 180.19km. 

As she was running on lane number 5, a distance of a lap was 430.04m.
