Chhath festival ended with offering Arghya to Lord Surya on Monday morning.  For this, from the morning onwards, women stood in waist-deep water at Chhath Ghat, Jhulelal Ghat, Sanjhiya and Kudiya Ghat in Lucknow's Lakshman Mela and offered Arghya to Lord Sun.Before this, on Sunday evening everyone offered Arghya to the setting sun and worshiped Chhathi Mai.

On this occasion, dignitaries including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak participated in the Chhath festival in Lucknow.Apart from the people who worshiped at the Chhath Ghat of Laxman Mela in Lucknow, there were also a large number of people who came to witness the joy of the great festival.  People from outside the puja place were also competing to get vermilion applied among the women sitting along the railing.
