I'm not going to comment on whether that's a good thing or bad, but Christian principles and what America you, and other republicans, want do not go hand in hand. And making US a Christian nation would be everything against the very founding fathers that you love. The anti-democratic belief that America is a Christian-only nation. violates the First Amendment's Establishment Clause and challenges the principle of separation of religion and state. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"

It even goes against Christianity for that matter. This was a country that practised harsh slavery that split families and murdered individuals, tremendous violence toward non-whites and immigrants, and even today mass murders of BIPOC. Let's not even start with the demonization and denial of equal protection to LGBTQ+ people. None of this corresponds to the "love thy neighbour" precepts.

And also, not that you care but giving Christian education to children will only make them science deniers and let's be honest, we don't need a country full of people who believe in pregnant virgins and walking on water.
