With the C5 Suv , the French automobile manufacturer has entered the indian market.

The French carmaker, Citroen has introduced its first model, the C5 Aircross in the country. The C5 Aircross is a mid-size SUV and will rival against the likes of the Hyundai Tucson, Jeep Compass, and the upcoming Volkswagen Tiguan.

Citroen has equipped the India-spec C5 Aircross with a 2.0-litre diesel engine (177PS/400Nm), paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. It has a claimed fuel efficiency of 18.6kmpl.

The SUV comes with a panoramic sunroof, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a kick-to-open powered tailgate. It also gets dual-zone climate control and a 6-speaker sound system.

The C5 Aircross is priced between Rs 29.90 lakh and Rs 31.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
