Even the fourth day of the year began with dense fog over Northern and North-eastern parts of the country resulted in very low visibility, affected normal life and delayed flight operations on Thursday morning.
As per India Meteorological Department data, the cold wave continues to tightened its grip over Delhi-NCR with the minimum temperature recorded at 7.3 degrees on Thursday morning.
The maximum temperature is expected to be around 15 degrees in the national capital today and the fog conditions are likely to decrease in the next two days, the IMD said.
Several flight operations were delayed at Delhi Airport due to low visibility amid fog.
As per Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, the air quality in several parts of Delhi remained in the 'very poor' category today.
