Colombia's Women's National Team is gearing up for their third appearance in the FIFA Women's World Cup, set to take place in Australia and New Zealand. Although their best performance came in 2015 when they reached the round of 16, they were ultimately defeated 2-0 by the eventual champions, the USWNT (United States Women's National Team).

Securing their spot in the 2023 Women's World Cup, Colombia made it to the final of the 2022 Copa America Femenina. Despite losing 1-0 to Brazil in the summit clash, Linda Caicedo's goal against Argentina propelled them to qualify for the prestigious tournament.

However, their performance leading up to the World Cup has been less than stellar, with only one victory in five matches.
