To be fair the thing that drew me to this game is its characters- particularly Monstadt's cavalry captain Kaeya and Liyue's sea captain Beidou. Many Genshin characters have  engrossing storylines that weave beautifully into the the different plots of each region in Teyvat. And that is what kept me loyal to this game despite its many weaknesses: the plot. Every 2-3 months there are new plotlines dropped by Hoyoverse which players embark on to discover more about Teyvat and its flawed relationship with Celestia. More often than not, there are many easter eggs hidden cleverly that are later uncovered by theory lovers.

   If Hoyoverse manages to keep up with this level in their writing till Snezhnaya (the final region to be unlocked in Teyvat) is dropped, I would consider playing again despite its horrible player experience especially in the character-betting section.
