Well, it looks like at least one political family has a convict in it, but it's not Trump, it’s Biden, Hunter Biden, who recently pled guilty to nine federal tax charges.
And these charters are no joke. They can land him a maximum of 17 years in prison and get him fines up to 1.3 million dollars. He would also be ineligible to run for office in many states since he would be a convicted felon.
But does any of this really matter? Honestly, it doesn't. And that's the truth. The timing could not have been more opportune for Hunter. With his dad recently announcing that he will not run for re-election, it only means one thing: that since Joe Biden has nothing left to lose, he’ll pardon Hunter for all of his crimes.
The party of no one is above the law has just set itself up for a political reckoning that will tarnish their reputation for years to come. We all know what the backlash would be like if one of Trump's kids were pardoned by Trump himself. And a democratic party and mainstream media that will conveniently look the other way, the democrats have placed themselves in an untenable position.
This guilty plea may very well be the catalyst for a political reckoning that may upend the largest political party in the United States.
