Such a cute picture :')
Adorable! Interesting observation!
I think it isn’t just the pups with a changed behavior . Pandemic has made all us a bit weird with people in general.
We have two pups and one has always been leash aggressive so it’s hard to walk her without hiding behind trees or cars when passing another dog. The other one, Angus, is much younger with a lot of anxiety, but we have managed to keep him in check with the help of a trainer and LOTS of treats. What I’ve noticed is that pre-COVID, owners would be happy to have their pups “say hi” to Angus.
But, since COVID, I’ve noticed that most owners keep their pups on a tight leash when we walk by with Angus. Although that is much appreciated, I wonder if COVID has impacted such behavior. I wonder if more pups have been less socialized because of the pandemic and thus, owners are less likely to have their pups “say hi?” Angus is hit or miss with other pups on leash, but usually wants to “play.” The last 1.5 years seems to have impacted the environment.
