Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is on the hospital yet again, only this time he didn’t keep it hidden from the President.

Austin was hospitalized for a bladder issue and has transferred his power to the Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks while he’s out of commission.

You may remember Austin made national headlines when he practically disappeared to get surgery. Supposedly not even Biden knew about his condition for 4 days.

At the time, even Austin admitted they did things wrong when he said, “I want to be crystal clear. We did not handle this right and I did not handle this right.”

My heart goes out to Austin for a speedy recovery. I’m just glad that this time there’s more transparency with the condition of one of the nations most critical leaders.
