My short term hope for sports is that all categories are either accepting of trans and non-binary participants, or have separate classification.

I'm also not nearly as strong as I used to be five years ago when I was still masquerading as a cis male.

So there has to be some balance in between, and I hope that it is an achievable goal in the next few years. As for long term goals, I think that trans and non-binary participants also need to be included in the Olympics.

The IOC needs to wake up and realize that trans and non-binary people either need to be completely accepted in either male or female category or have their own category altogether. But I don't even know how many years down the road that's gonna be.
