She informed that the senior officials and additional chief secretaries level officers from the Delhi government will meet the officials of the Haryana government amid the escalating water crisis and sweltering heat.

The national capital has been grappling with a severe water crisis for weeks. The water shortage has forced many to rely on private water tankers. This morning, in Kusumpur Pahadi, Vasant Vihar, residents were seen collecting water in plastic canisters from water tankers.

Political tensions escalated on Monday over the water shortage in Delhi, with the ruling AAP alleging that the BJP is intentionally exacerbating the situation to inconvenience the public. In response, the BJP organised 'matka phod' protests, blaming the Kejriwal government for the crisis.
