Destiny!

I know I'm not your choice to make,

But written in the stars by hands divine

You spun me into a butterfly,

And for a while, we danced inside our story.

But then the winds whispered the truth,

I'm starting to feel-I was never your fate.

Just a fleeting emotion, passing like the seasons,

Not the destiny we once dreamed of.

We can no longer walk the same path,

For we are only feelings, lost in time.

I'm soaring towards the moon,. Yet my heart is drowning in the earth!
