The idea of detox diet plan is to eliminate the accumulated toxins and cleanse the body. It is a general belief that most food items are contaminated by various ingredients deemed unnecessary for human life, such as flavor enhancers, food colorings, and artificial preservatives. The detox diet aims at eliminating these toxins from the body. Sample diet plan with Indian foods ;
1 Empty stomach - Honey and lemon water. Tip - when flame is on ,never add honey.
2 Breakfast - 1 bowl sprouts salad, Mid meal - veg juice with 2 walnuts soaked.
3 Lunch - 1 bowl moong daal khichdi (no vegetables)+ curd
Evening snacks green tea with roasted chana.
4 Dinner - beetroot tomato soup.
Here are few reminders ;
1 Any food can be accommodated in your diet plan as long as it fits your daily calorie and macro budget.
2 Try sticking to your local foods, home foods most of the time.
3 Fats, carbs, proteins, fruits and veggies all have a purpose in our body.. never neglect a food group completely.
4 Drink 3-4 It water. Keep yourself hydrated!
