Dev Deepawali, one of the Lakhha fairs of Varanasi, will be celebrated on 15 November. This time 84 ghats will be illuminated with 12 lakh lamps. The crescent-shaped ghats of Kashi, wearing a garland of lamps, will look supernatural and amazing. Domestic and foreign guests will also come to Kashi to see Dev Deepawali, which has gone global from local.Devlok will descend on the ghats of Kashi on Dev Deepawali. The state government has made preparations to illuminate the ghats and ponds with 12 lakh lamps to make Dev Deepawali divine and grand. The Yogi government has already declared it a provincial fair to give Dev Deepawali a divine and grand look. Divine laser show and green fireworks will also be organized on Dev Deepawali.This year, more than 12 lakh lamps will twinkle on more than 84 ghats, ponds and lakes of Kashi on behalf of the Yogi government and through public participation. Deputy Director of Tourism Department Rajendra Kumar Rawat said that out of 12 lakh lamps, two and a half to three lakh lamps will be made from cow dung. Lamps will also be lit on the sand across the Ganga. The sand area of the Ganga in the eastern region of the ghat will also be completely illuminated. Apart from this, the ghats will be cleaned and the ghats will be illuminated with facade lights and electric lights.
