I am the type of person who makes a bucket list every year, without fail. It’s funny because I fail to tick off even half of my set goals, but anyway…
I am sure that most of you experience this as well, so let’s be real—it is not a good feeling. We often end up feeling disappointed in ourselves when we should be focusing on why we failed in the first place.
It’s not because we are lazy or unmotivated, but for a variety of reasons such as a lack of planning, overthinking, setting unrealistic goals, failing to track progress, or giving up too readily due to a lack of confidence in oneself.
That is why I have decided to set specific goals this year that I can work on in an effective manner. While setting these goals, it is advisable to keep the following factors in mind:
📌 Is there a good purpose behind your resolution?
📌 Have you devised an effective plan in order to achieve your objective?
📌 Are you ready to face any challenges that you may face in its completion?
📌 Would you be willing to alter your current lifestyle to fulfil your goal?
Whether it’s taking care of your body, saving money, or spending more time with your loved ones, you should be very precise about your goals and must stay consistent to achieve them.
