Dinesh Karthik Appointed As RCB Batting Coach and Mentor

Former India and RCB Wicketkeeper batter Dinesh Karthik has been appointed as the new Batting coach and Mentor of the Royal Challengers Bangalore Men's team.

Dinesh Karthik served as the designated Wicketkeeper and finisher of RCB from 2022 till 2024. He had previously represented the franchise in 2015 and 2016. His role in the team as a senior batter was clearly cut out - coming in during the slog overs and amassing as many runs as possible and the 39 year old was very good at his job.

Karthik will now take on the role of a mentor - his first assignment since announcing his retirement from all forms of cricket post IPL 2024.
