I get it the kids are mad again about something someone did that they think is cancellable. But does it really matter? Is it really that horrible that the author who started a generation of young minds reading, who made reading and wizards popular, who gave up her billionaire position by donating money to charity? All of that is suddenly immaterial since she isn't completely supportive of the transgender community? It's absurd!

I'm not sure how deep the rabbit hole goes or whether what she said is just another instance of a slings of words that got taken way out of proportion. But are we really going to abandon Harry Potter because of such petty difference in opinion?
