Do you have a flight during the weekend when there will be traffic diversion and restrictions throughout Delhi NCR?
Just be double sure and have a hassle-free travel experience amid the high security and restriction in Delhi and NCR if you have booked your ticket yourself.
Visit the airline website, enter your PNR, and check if the contact details are updated. The contact details in this case are the mobile number and email ID. Airlines reach out to the passengers for any changes via the contact details with the airlines.
For tickets booked via OTAs (Online Travel Agencies) or travel agents, more often than not, the email ID and /or contact number is of the travel agency. This would mean that the airline contacts the OTAs, which, in turn, inform the passengers. This will take time, and there is also a risk of not being contacted at all.
Air India announced a one-time waiver to its passengers who are flying to or from Delhi from September 7-11 when restrictions will be in place in the national capital due to the G20 Summit.
Passengers are being offered a one-time waiver of applicable charges, if they wish to change their date of travel or their flight, said the Tata-owned airline.
"For any query related to this please contact us on 0091242641407/ 00912026231407," the airline said.
Last month, Delhi airport operator DIAL said it has received requests from airlines for cancellation of 80 departing and as many arriving domestic flights during three days from September 8 in connection with the G20 Summit.
