Doctors are saviours and ensuring their safety should be the priority of every government and healthcare institution.

Such incidents are not only demeaning but they also pose a threat to the healthcare workers’ lives.

The essential point shouldn’t focus on just keeping security guards or putting CCTV cameras because it will not always help.

Whatever happened was spontaneous and no one got enough time to protect the life of a 23-year-old.

In that case, if the healthcare workers are trained and taught to identify and respond to violent situations like this then it can act as a self shield.

Other than this government should take strict legal action against perpetrators of violence against healthcare workers, including fines, imprisonment, and other legal sanctions.

By doing this at least they would ensure that no such violence will be tolerated and the accused will be penalised.

Furthermore, for ensuring safety, authorities should delve into such incidents and try to find out what will be the best for creating a safe environment for the healthcare workers.
