#Doctorwarriors Dr. Darakshan “besides all the negativity during that tough times, people really came up to help the needy ones”.
Continues from part 1…
When the Covid was on peak she used to treat 15-20 patients in a single day, sometimes it took a whole day to look after a single patient.
Being a gynaecologist, she goes through a different situations, “it gets tough emotionally to deal with patients, doctors too get attached”.
She also was very thankful for the authorities for providing medical facilities on time, for keeping a check , because the government was also not prepared for that kind of a outbreak, but still manages to do so.
When asked the about the current situation in the country and the new variant which is coming from South Africa “OMICRON” , she replied saying we are somehow prepared for the third wave, most of the population is now vaccinated, since we have been through at a lot already, the third wave can never be as dangerous as second wave.
She added saying “besides all the negatively which was going on in the country the only thing which keeps people going was that people came in front for helping the needy ones, the feeling of humanity which was seen within the people, irrespective of religion, region or anything”. She Signed off.
