As q new picture has surfaced on social media where, Australia's Mitchell Marsh is seen sitting with his feet up on World Cup trophy😲

The photo which was initially shared on Instagram by Australian skipper Pat Cummins, has gone viral, and it made its way to several social media platforms. The internet called the gesture ‘disrespectful’ and trolled him for it.

The picture was shared hours after Australia lifted the World Cup trophy. Australia played against the host, India, in the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday, November 19. The photo appears to be from the hotel room where the Australian team was sitting and conversing with each other at ease.

As soon as the picture went viral, people started trolling him for being ‘disrespectful’ towards the trophy.

Before the final Marsh made comments like," Australia undefeated. Defeating India. Australia 450 for 2 in the final, India all out 65."

Although Australia won the match, but Mitchell himself got OUT just by making 15 runs, and India gave a tough fight to Australia.

It was a close match, with pitch conditions going in favour of Australia in the second innings.
