Undoubtedly, these three greatest names of tennis, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nada, cannot be forgotten but if we look at a bigger picture then history have some of the amazing players.
And my favourite is Tennis legend Pete Sampras. To see him playing is nothing but a treat to our eyes.
He was the one to create an all time record of 14 major singles titles.
If we begin enumerating his achievements then there won’t be any end to the list.
He won seven Wimbledon titles, which is also a record; two Australian Opens; and a joint Open Era record of five US Open titles.
We also know him by his nickname “Pistol Pete” which he earned for his powerful serve.
Sampras’ dominance of the sport was reflected in his world No. 1 ranking, which he first achieved in 1993.
Doesn’t matter who is the best now, Sampras’s name will always be remembered as Tennis’s greatest legend.
