What on earth is wrong with the DOJ?

The DOJ recently released a letter that was handwritten by the gunman who attempted to assassinate Donald Trump, Ryan Routh, which states that he failed his assassination attempt, but that he will offer a reward of $150,000 to whoever can kill Trump.

This is some sort of sick joke, right? On what planet does it make sense for the Department of Justice to release a bounty from a would-be-assassin of a former president.

This is the type of move that will inspire copycats and crazies who think it's a real offer. The Department of Justice, under the leadership of Merrick Garland, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris, have just sounded the dog whistle to try and get Trump killed.
