A highly acclaimed leader of preventive cardiology at national and international levels Dr S. K. Reddy stands tall as a researcher in multi - disciplinary public health education . As a policy enabler and activist, he transformed cardiovascular health and healthy living. Under his leadership, PHFI established 5 Indian Institutes of Public Health. He is the first Indian to be elected to the National Academy of Medicine, USA. He served as physicians to two Prime Ministers of India.
