There are no other treks like the Durinar Lake Trek in Kashmir. The walk leads to three alpine lakes, Durinar I, Durinar II, and finally Durinar III at 4600 M, which is close to the tranquil destination of Sonamarg (15,092 FT). The trail leading from Sarbal, which is frequently referred to as the last village in Kashmir, is hidden and little travelled, and it is only known to a handful of individuals. To reach the last lake, Durinar III, which offers breathtaking views of the Lidder and Sindh valley, you must travel through Kashmiri meadows and climb steeply. You may get spectacular views of the renowned Zoji La, the Kolahoi peak and glacier, as well as a large number of other peaks and passes in the Kashmir National Park, from this vantage position.
