In a shocking turn of events, BJP is trailing in Uttar Pradesh as the Samajwadi Party is now leading on 33 seats while Congress is leading on 8 seats.
In Bihar, JDU has come out as the strongest party as they are leading 15 seats, followed by BJP’s 11-seat lead. In states like Rajasthan and Gujarat, where BJP registered a clean sweep in 2019, Congress is set to win seats to register a dramatic comeback.
TMC, who, despite being part of the INDIA alliance, decided to go solo in West Bengal, is leading in the state.
BJP-led NDA is now highly unlikely to cross its target of 400 seats as the INDIA alliance continues pushing their numbers further down. Notably, NDA was given 350+ seats during exit polls, which, as per the latest reports, are also highly unlikely for them to achieve.

The exit polls gave the verdict in favour of the NDA, as according to all the major agencies, the BJP-led NDA was given 350+ seats for the second consecutive time.
