Since Elon Musk has taken over Twitter there has been a lot of chaos and confusion in the microblogging site and also among Twitter employees across the world.
There has been uncertainty and confusions among people, with Musk leaving everybody curious and anticipated because nobody really knows what will be his next move.
Musk tweeted,” Please note that Twitter will do lots of dumb things in coming months. We will keep what works & change what doesn’t.”

Well, there has been unpredictability in the Twitter space with some or the other experiments happening.
Yesterday, Twitter unveiled a new gray "official" label for some high-profile accounts. However, the company scrapped it within hours "I just killed it," Elon Musk tweeted just hours after the new tag went live and was added to the government accounts as well as those big companies and major media outlets.
However, Musk laid more emphasis on the blue tick and said it will be a great leveler.
A tweet from Twitter Support read, “We are not currently putting an “Official” label on accounts.”

The blue tick has been a mark of authenticity on Twitter accounts. However, with Twitter Blue going paid, there were doubts about how the accounts of public figures and corporations will work and if they too would they required to pay.
The official gray tag appeared yesterday on few government companies and public figures for few hours was seen as a workaround. The official label was seen on the accounts of companies such as Apple, BMW; public figures like PM Narendra Modi; and public institutes such as White House.
The ‘new’ official label was seen as Twitter answer to verify accounts outside of the blue checkmark, which can now be bought through Twitter Blue subscription for $8 per month. But just hours later, it was gone.
Earlier today, Twitter’s executive Esther Crawford informed in a series of tweets about the launch of the official badge and how it is different from Twitter’s blue tick.
