Emotional regulation is a skill which we can learn through various strategies to regulate the emotions and live more emotionally balanced life.

MINDFULNESS - It suggests mind which is fully attending to what's happening, to what you're doing, to the speaxe one's moving through.

ATTENTION-SHIFTING STRATEGIES - It is a temporary strategy, through Sudoku, tetris, counting the tiles on the floor around you or doing anything that distracts you from the moment.

FORWARD-LOOKING STRATEGIES- For a temporary solution you can avoid the person, place or a ring which is causing stress or harm.

POSITIVE SELF TALK- Practice on positive talking and check in with your feelings regularly.

CALLING UPON OUR BEST SELF- Ask yourself "What would my best self do?"  When in moments of agitation it can be effective to align our emotions with oru values.
