With this we announce the first victory of India in Tokyo Olympics 2020 which has been successfully achieved by Weighlifter Chanu Saikhom Mirabai. With her constant focus and will power, she gave India its first medal at Tokyo Olympics 2020 as she won the silver medal in the women's 49kg category.

Chanu lifted 84kg and 87kg successfully and she even registered a New Olympic Record with a successful lift of 115kg in clean and jerk.

We wish Mirabai Chanu all the luck for her journey and thank her for giving India such a proud moment to look forward at.
