Franz Kafka was one of the most influential fiction writers of the early 20th century. 'Letter to His Father' was published in 1952, these letters were written by Kafka for his father, it portrays his emotions of anguish and distress that evoked from his childhood trauma.
He remained aloof from his father all his life, these letters were penned with a hope to abridge the gap between him and his father. The subtle words and vehement emotions in the letter are childhood memories of Kafka that remained with him to trigger and haunt him throughout his life.
In few parts of letter, Franz Kafka has asserted that the change in his personality and being never able to have an unbounded confidence in his opinions was certainly because of the influence and horror of his father.
