1. The silent patient- Alex Michaelides: This book revolves around a therapist and his quest to understand a patient who was accused of killing her husband. This psychological thriller is very addictive with a completely unforeseen ending. Even if you're new to psychological thrillers, this book will have you turning pages till the end.
2. Tell me your dreams- Sidney Sheldon: This Sidney Sheldon novel is another one of those books which you're going to find hard to put down. This book has it all, the courtroom drama, serial killers and mental institutions. This spine-chilling story will get your adrenaline rushing.
3. The turn of the key-Ruth Ware: A gothic suspense novel but instead of the typical Victorian castle with creaky doors you get a modern smart house with advanced high technology. Sounds fresh, doesn’t it? The premise is that a Nanny in jail is accused of murdering one of the children in her care and she's explaining her case to a lawyer.
4. One of us is lying- Karen M. McManus: Gave me some real “how to get away with murder” vibes. The story revolves around five students who walk into detention, however, only four of them walk out alive. What follows is a young-adult murder mystery that will keep you at the edge of your seat, guessing and addicted.
5. Fangirl- Rainbow Rowell: Now one for hopeless romantics like me. This one's either going to take you back to your initial college days or like me will make you experience FOMO :/ The story is about Cath who deals with adulting, roommates and relationships. It's kinda cute and funny, all rolled into one.
