A key issue is the duration of FIFA's use, as they need it for about three months for logistics, which Real Madrid are considering and are not happy with.

Despite this, the good relationship between FIFA and Real Madrid might help finalize the deal. Spain will co-host the tournament with Portugal, Morocco, and possibly Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil.
