Ati-Zigi played the entire game versus South Korea in the season group encounter, making several vital saves that helped Ghana win 3-2 and secure their first victory at the World Cup in 2022.
Club Career
Ati-Zigi transferred from Red Bull Ghana, a feeder club in Ghana, to Red Bull Salzburg in January 2015. Ati-Zigi was immediately loaned to the Austria second League reserve squad FC Liefering. In July 2017, Ati-Zigi reconnected with his former coach Peter Zeidler from Liefering and Red Bull Salzburg when he signed a three-year contract with French team FC Sochaux-Montbéliard. Ati-Zigi signed a two and a half year contract with Swiss club FC St. Gallen on January 16, 2020, and it was slated to expire in June 2023. On January 26, Ati-Zigi made his club debut against FC Lugano in a Swiss Super League game, aiding the team to a 3-1 victory.
