Jamal Musiala is one of the best young payers in the World of football. Despite representing England in his youth phase, he switched allegiance to represent Germany on the international stage. He joined Bayern from Chelsea’s academy in 2020  and made his debut for the Bavarian giants later that year. He started gaining attention in German football after his brace in Bayern’s 8-0 victory over Schalke. Musiala has since developed into a first-team regular for the club and is likely to be a starter for his country. He is a brilliant dribbler with quick feet, and he’s comfortable in tight spaces and doesn’t shy from getting into goal-scoring areas. He is a brilliant goal scorer, too and gives his markers a tough time. He is also silky on the ball and can convert a half-chance to a goal.

In a season after Bayern sold their 40-goal striker, Musiala has risen to the club's challenges and leads the way in both goals and assists. The young German has recorded 22 goal contributions in 22 games in all competitions.  He’s created five bug chances and averages nearly two big chances per game. If he replicates his club form at the Worl Cup, Germany may b be on course for another World Cup success. 

World Cup Record

Qatar 2022 will be Musiala’s first World Cup and his second competition for Germany. He was in the European Championship team that lost to England in the Round of 16. He’s made 17 appearances for Germany and has only scored once since making his debut. Musiala will be a starter and a key player for Germany at the World Cup and will be vital to their play.

Overall stat

Musiala hasn’t been at the top level for a long time, after only making his debut two seasons ago. He has scored 20 goals in the Bundesliga in 71 appearances and provided 13 assists.
