Current Form
Mehdi has scored 13 goals this season in 19 appearances for Porto in all competitions, with five coming in five Champions League appearances. With an additional seven assists, he has been Porto's most important and prolific player this season.
World Cup
This will be Mehdi's second appearance at the World Cup, with his first coming in 2018. He appeared in only two of the three group-stage games and failed to score in either.
