So looking forward to the round of 16 at FIFA World Cup. We’ve seen major upsets in Qatar and the likes of Germany, Uruguay, Belgium failing to make it past the group stage.

The last set of group fixtures brought every sort of emotion - both for a fan and player. We almost saw Spain getting knocked out, South Korea winning in injury time to seal their spot, Mexico literally made it through as they had less yellow cards compared to their rivals Poland who were on same points as them. Had Mexico not conceded against Saudi Arabia in the 90+5’ minute, they would have made it through.

Morocco really surprised many at the World Cup and topped the group which Had Croatia and Belgium in it. A win for USA vs Iran in their last group game sealed their spot in the next round - where they’ll play Netherlands who’ve been have an good campaign too!

We’ve got some really interesting fixtures. Hopefully more goals, extra time and penalties to take us to the final stages of the tournament.
