Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and senior officials at the Ministry of Finance presented the last budget of the Central government today before the 2024 elections.

Before presenting the Budget, Sitharaman also called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan .

She showed the the red folder case containing the Union Budget 2023-24 speech. This is the fifth Union Budget that Nirmala Sitharaman as presented at the Parliament.
