Gabriel Jesus is nearing a return to competitive football, after missing 3 months out with a knee injury.
Let’s recap 👇
In December, Jesus suffers a major injury during the World Cup which resulted in surgery to his knee. Eddie Nketiah stepped up and assumed striker responsibilities, scoring the winner against Manchester United (H) and leading the line against Spurs (A).
Today, we continue to lead the PL title with a game in hand against Everton. Gabriel Jesus’ return will only propel the team and increase the chances of sustaining our title chances.
Rumours are Jesus will take part in academy football to build up minutes and fitness. His return is just around the corner. He is likely to return before the next international break.
