Nicely put!👌
I've watched a series named FRIENDS and noticed many instances of gender stereotypes being prevalent in the entire show. The plot has two siblings, Monica and Ross. In the series, their mother keeps on nagging Monica, finding faults in every possible activity she does meanwhile not leaving a single chance of praising Ross for even usual chores performed by him.
Ross and Rachel are looking for a nanny to help them care for their daughter in the episode "The One with the Male Nanny." Ross wonders aloud if Sandy, a male who applies for the position and is the best qualified of all the candidates, is gay, and thinks it hilarious because his name is classified as feminine. Ross clashes with Rachel because she wants to hire him, but he refuses since he believes a nanny should be a woman's role, not Sandy's. Sandy's temperament is highly emotional and possesses characteristics that society considers to be "feminine." Gender stereotypes and the female division of labour are reinforced as a result of this.
