Google has unveiled a new Mint color variant for its Pixel 8 and 8 Pro smartphones, expanding the available choices for users. The Mint variant joins the previously launched Obsidian, Hazel, Rose (Pixel 8), and Obsidian, Bay, Porcelain (Pixel 8 Pro) color options. The Mint color, described as a 'Fresh year, fresh drop,' is reminiscent of the Lemongrass shade introduced with the Pixel 7. The new Mint variant is exclusively available on the Google Store and is currently limited to the 128GB model. Although listed on the Google India online store, availability in India is expected on Flipkart.

Additionally, the January Pixel Feature Drop introduces body temperature measurement capability on the Pixel 8 Pro, following FDA authorization. Other features include the widely rolling out Circle to Search and updates to the Google Messages app with features like Photomoji and Magic Compose for Pixel users.
