That will be interesting to see.
Thursday's FIFA World Cup matches will kickoff with the remaining fixtures from Group F. That will see the already-eliminated Canada face off against Morocco, while Belgium takes on Croatia. Here is a look at what is on the line in these two matches.
Croatia vs Belgium
The Red Devils have it all to do in this clash. Third in Russia four years ago, Roberto Martinez's side will be eliminated with a defeat or if Morocco wins and they do not. Elimination is also possible with a Morocco defeat and a Belgian draw, which would see the two teams level on points. In that case, goal difference would be the determining factor (Morocco is on +2 ahead of kickoff, Belgium -1).
Zlatko Dalic's Croatia knows that a point will be enough to see them through. A defeat could still see them progress should Morocco also lose and the goal difference remains in Croatia's favour (the former is on +2, the latter +3).
Elimination would be seen as a massive failure from both sides, especially given their respective runs from the last edition. They could both still go through, but neither one will want to leave it in the hands of Canada and Morocco. Speaking of which.....
Canada vs Morocco
Canada knows that regardless of the outcome of their final group game, their second World Cup journey woll come to an end. They cannot finish in the top two in this section, with John Herdman's side now playing the role of potential spoiler against a Morocco team seriously fancying their chances at progression.
Only once in their previous five World Cup showings have The Atlas Lions successfully negotiate the group stage. That was in 1986, which also happens to be their opponent's only other experience in this tournament.
A point will be enough for Morocco. Defeat will see them watch the other match with a nervous eye. A Belgian defeat also sees them through regardless of their result against Canada.
Two matches, 90 minutes of nerve-wracking action. One of Belgium, Croatia and Morocco will join Canada im departing Qatar early. Now the question is, who will it be?
