It was a stellar performance by Gujarat Titans to secure a 35-run victory over CSK in Ahmedabad 🏏🔥

GT put up a big total of 231 runs riding on tons from captain and openers Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan, before limiting CSK to a total of 196 runs as Mohit Sharma starred with a three-wicket haul.

Sudharsan and Gill put up a 210-run stand for the first wicket as the former made 103 runs before being dismissed by Tushar Deshpande, who also scalped the wicket of Gill, after the GT skipper had made 104 runs.

Chasing the mammoth total, CSK’s top order collapsed as the holders were down to 10 runs for the loss of 3 wickets before Daryl Mitchell and Moeen Ali put up a triple-digit stand as both batter made half-centuries each.

Mohit derailed the Chennai innings with his three-fer, before Rashid Khan picked up a couple of wickets in the penultimate over to put the result beyond any doubt.

However, the yellow faithful were given something to cheer for as MS Dhoni’s unbeaten 26 runs knock took the ting off the loss.

With this now Gujarat Titans move to eighth place in the points table after a comfortable win over CSK ⚡🔼
