Afghanistan's national wushu team with four athletes, coach and head of the team left Kabul for China yesterday evening. Karim Faqiri at 56 kg, Majid Rasouli at 65, Mohammad Khaled Hotak at 70 and Nusratullah Habibi at 75 kg are members of the Afghanistan national wushu team at the Hangzhou Asian Matches.
This is the third time China has hosted the Asian Matches or the Asian Olympic matches. Competitions will be held in 40 sports, including 61 disciplines and 482 sports items.
The Afghanistan Wushu National Championships will start on September 24 at the Hangzhou Olympic Village Wushu Hall. According to the announced schedule, on the 22nd day of this month, Wushu weigh-in will be held.
