He was a former Australian skipper under whom Australia never lost a Test series. During his 63-game Test career, he scored 2201 runs at an average of 24.45, which included 3 centuries, and took 248 wickets at an average of 27.03, which included 16 fifers. He's an ICC Hall of Famer and the first Test cricketer to reach the milestone of 2000 runs and 200 wickets. Our generation got to know him as one of the greatest commentators of the game. On this day in 1930, the late great Richie Benaud was born.
