Manchester United has reportedly set their sights firmly on Tottenham star striker Harry Kane. The England captain is reportedly their top priority to bolster their attacking options in the upcoming transfer window.
Harry Kane has already established himself as one of the greatest English strikers. Currently sitting in third place on the all-time Premier League goals list with an impressive tally of 201 goals, Kane also holds the record for the highest number of goals scored for Tottenham (268) and is tied for the most goals for England (53).
Despite his personal accolades, Kane's frustration with Tottenham's lack of silverware and 15-year trophy drought might push him to look for greener pastures this summer. Tottenham's Champions League hopes for next season hang by a thread, which further complicates the striker's decision.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United's manager Erik ten Hag has identified Harry Kane as his primary target for the summer transfer window. While the club also remains interested in Napoli's Victor Osimhen and Benfica's Goncalo Ramos, Kane is their top priority. However, it won't be cheap as Tottenham could ask for up to a £100 million fee for a potential transfer this summer.
With Bayern also interested, there's no guarantee that Kane will end up at Old Trafford even if Tottenham decides to sell him in the first place. Where do you see the striker playing next season? Let me know in the comments...
