Haryana, Andhra girls register easy wins in roller hockey - 61st National Skating Championship
Telangana, Haryana, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu girls won their respective league matches in the junior girls' roller hockey category in the ongoing 61st National Skating Championship held in Chandigarh on Saturday.
In a thrilling series of league matches held on Saturday, each team showcased their prowess, securing victories in their respective matchups.
The junior girls from Tamil Nadu demonstrated their dominance on the rink, securing a resounding victory against Uttar Pradesh with an impressive 6-2 win in the first league match. Meanwhile, Telangana triumphed over Karnataka in a closely contested battle, securing a narrow but significant 2-1 victory.
Andhra Pradesh's girls displayed exceptional skill and strength as they secured a commanding win against Kerala, triumphing with a dominating scoreline of 12-1. On the other hand, Haryana's team delivered an outstanding performance, blanking Maharashtra with a striking 10-0 victory. Punjab also showcased their strength on the rink, securing a commendable 7-1 win over Jammu & Kashmir.
