Hera's hatred for Hercules

Hera is known for wrecking revenge on the women Zeus had affairs with and also their childre. Hercules was the son of Zeus' affair with a mortal woman Alcmene. Because Hercules was bron from the affair, it constantly reminded Hera of her husband's infidelity and thus she hated Hercules. She tried her best to kill him even before he was born bur was unsuccessful. She sent monsters to kill him when he was just an infant but he defeated them all, thanks to the powers he inherited. After all unsuccessful attempts she inflicted madness upon him and as a result he killed his wife Megara and his sons.
