The 88-year-old Tibetan spiritual leader, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, returned to Dharamshala amidst a heartfelt reception from hundreds of elated Tibetans and devotees. Dr. Tsetan Dorjee, His Holiness's personal physician, reassured the public that apart from a seasonal flu, the revered leader is in good health, urging followers not to be concerned.
Notably, the Central Tibetan Administration's leadership, including Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, Officiating Sikyong Tharlma Dolma Changra, Security Kalon Dolma Gyari, Jonang Gyatsab Rinpoche, Settlement Officer Kunchok Migmar, and representatives of local civil society groups, gathered at the Kangra Airport to extend a warm welcome to His Holiness.
The joyous scenes at the airport, with the display of ceremonial Tibetan white scarves and incense sticks, symbolize the unwavering respect and reverence for the Dalai Lama within the Tibetan community and beyond.
